‘Pitch to Rich’, an exciting competition backed by Virgin Media Business, aims to help innovative UK companies spread their own idea more effectively. ‘Grow’, ‘New Things’ and ‘Start-up’ are the three categories of the contest, which comes with the very catchy hashtag #VOOM – the perfect reminder of the once-in-a-lifetime business acceleration offered to winning participants.
Among the businesses answering the call, SoAmpli! Our pitch – listed in the Start-Up category – is now live. We have until May 5th 2015 to gather as many votes as we can and make it to the next stage. The 50 start-ups with the most votes will then be shortlisted to pitch to Virgin Media experts – including Sir Rich – for a chance to become one of the 10 semi-finalists.
In all fairness, this is not the first time Maz and Sir Branson cross paths. In 2014, Maz was invited to join the line-up of Social Media experts for the Big Digital Skills Hub, a Virgin Media initiative to help entrepreneurs grow their business through the Internet.
