On Wednesday, June 29th, SoAmpli’s creator and founder Maz Nadjm pitched for investment in front of members of the prestigious group of Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of London.

The ten minute presentation – followed by a lively Q&A session – was met with great interest by the expert audience, clearly intrigued by the world of possibilities brought about by the fast-growing social selling sector (the social selling market alone is estimated to be £2-3bn – on global ad spend of £375bn – growing 50% annually versus 26% for all digital spend).  As a result, SoAmpli received the highest vote of all participating companies from attendees.

The event – moderated by Greg Marsh, CEO of Onefinestay – came at the conclusion of a very competitive selection process that involved around 100 high profile tech companies.

Along SoAmpli, the list of start-up finalists included our fellow AngelsCube member Artstack (a social platform to help you discover and buy art based on your taste), Deftr
 (an “artificially intelligent lawyer”), Edukasyon
(an online platform bringing together higher education providers, students and employment pathway), and Re-Infer
(an AI customer service software to read, summarise and automate B2C conversations).
