It may not FEEL like a long time ago, but it’s already been ten months since SoAmpli and UKTI crossed paths for the first time. Back in July 2015, the UK Trade and Investment department chose SoAmpli as a winner of the BT Infinity Lab competition, giving us the unique opportunity to fly to Silicon Valley and present at the TC3 conference, one of the world’s largest gatherings for telecommunications.
Now, it is with extreme pleasure that we announce our nomination for the Business Innovation Awards. Once again, the UKTI department has selected SoAmpli as one of the three finalists in the Innovation in Services category.
The winner will be announced on April 27th during the Business Innovation Awards gala in L.A.. Tasked with the not-so-easy job of selecting the winner, a panel of judges featuring Andy Puddicombe, Founder and CEO of Headspace; Sophie Watts, President of STX Entertainment; Andy Bird CBE, Chairman of Walt Disney International; and author and speaker Sir Ken Robinson, an expert on education and the arts.
With just another few weeks to go before the event, not much left to do other than crossing our fingers!
